sourdough starter

OK we're not having a white Christmas but look at my sourdough starter. I fed it about 5 hours ago and its really bubbling away. And it smells like old gym socks! I can't wait to make bread from this.....

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas

This is a photo from last year, in Feburary. I'm jealous because so many people are having a white Christmas this year and its just raining here, so we'll have a wet Christmas. Merry Christmas anyway, and have fun in the snow.

The cat finally speaks

She's a cat of very few words. Full of meows but short on words. We've had some nasty cold weather lately and we let our outside cat, named "Cat" in the house for the first time. She liked it so well she parked on my chair and has not moved in two days. I have to eat in my bedroom as she won't get out of my chair. Anyway, she's the cats meow.

Sheba goes to see Bill

When I go see my friend Bill Sheba gets all excited. He keeps alot of food out for his dog, cat and Sheba thinks its a buffet.

Sheba and the deer.....again

The deer is trained, when I open the gate it goes right thru it and is not frightened.

So what is the price of gas where your at?

At Coquille its 1.79. At Florence (50 miles north) the cheapest was 1.49.
